DESCRIPTION

Located within the SFU precinct, atop Burnaby Mountain, the project features modern living spaces, as well as a variety of new shops and services, distributed throughout a 7-storey mid-rise building, a 17-storey tower building, and two townhouse blocks, all arranged around an expansive courtyard. The development is comprised of 144,054 SF of apartment condominiums (158 units), 40,690 SF of townhomes (26 units) and 33,790 SF of commercial space. The large façades of the mid-rise and tower block are framed and animated with bold projecting fins, while the south-east “gateway” corner of the tower is highlighted by a tall exterior atrium-like space which houses a public art feature. Generous amenity spaces and green roofs are a key part of this project. The project uses the centralized university geothermal energy supply for all heating and domestic hot water systems.
